well, I've been cold for the past 5 days, and very lonely in my dad's new house but at least I'm at peace and free to do whatever I want at last. or at least for now.
Right now I'm working on getting my college art porfolio finished so that I can apply for college @ the maine college of art, I'm also working on new artwork both for DA, and For art's Gala coming in march. Also on my plate are a number of cosplays, getting ready for conventions this year ect. and I'm trying my hardest not to get sick. a few cases of Swine flu have recently been hushed around school and I really don't want to get it. Not because I think it's too much of a worry but I can't afford to get sick in general. There is barely heat in my house, no medicine as well as no way to get it. my dad's unemployed and so he doesn't exactly have full coverage on health insurance right now, so I probably couldn't see a doctor for the worst. I also haven't even gotten any vacines for anything yet and I have no phone or communication method if something really bad happened to let people know something's wrong. so I'm keeping as cautious as I can.

so the awesome news? I've been invited to go to anime boston '10 w/ and yay! If I can pull out the cash for it. Which I think I can...or at least the basics (ticket, hotel or whatevr cut, food, subticket ect.) But the main issue........ cosplay.

anime boston is a serious convetion w/ many serious cosplayers. people like show up for these events and I need a killer cosplay damn it! but who to cosplay as???

I was already to cosplay as squall or a female adaption for portcon.that didn't exacly fit thier "old-school" theme but now that anime boston has replaced that what could I possibly do that is
A: original (sort of)
and
B: plain kick ass?

Searching different cosplays on DA I've noticed that I have yet to find a Shiek cosplay that satisfies me. and also I was disapointed as well with absolutely horrid countless other results.
It's also been requested by a friend that I cosplay as Lightning from Final Fantasy 13. A grand Idea! but an expensive one..., But
I still have the nag to cosplay as squall as well but that would require me to buy a good wig. (and even if I find a good one it'll be pricey and will it actualy fit me?) Along w/ this I would still need to buy a gunblade if I do either, or make one, Or substitute it w/the lionheart or whatever keyblade, either way they're all difficult to make and pricey to buy.

My third idea was to make a cosplay based on one of 's original characters from sketch kingdom as a means to help him promote his comic since I'm 100% sure he'll want to do some art selling and networking while he's there. Which isn't a bad idea, it's more do able but that would still require me a wig.... or should I just plain cut may hair and have it temporarily dyed?
If worst comes to worst I can touch up my o'l Link cosplay (which I find is coming out really well) but I don't gots a mastersword . And I'm sick of waring the same costume to everything. I also have a Roxas cosplay ...sort of. but I don't think it's one of my strongest, and I still need a Roxas wig and keyblade...

Oh, yay I'm also making cosplays for both my sis and where wants to be bell dandy from ah my goddess and would like to be sokka from avatar. thier basicaly set though.

plus, I need to come up w/ spending money.

Well, If you can give me any suggestions to awesome accessories weapons or wigs for cheap,
ways to get side cash,
or suggest a new cosplay idea please let me know!

also I'm totally am open to commissions for anything to help get me to boston! just comment I'm pretty cheap.

For use for college and the professional world yeah, I just found out they existed. like the DA's accounts you can make one for free or a premium, the premium costing you by upgrading your account to premium but still. It's very good and useful. however I've been unsuccessful uploading animations in the free account. but over all it's awesome and acutal companies and individuals can view your work. You can also attach your resume to it (if you have one yet).And did I mention that all of the work you add to it is automaticaly copyrighted to you? No worries about art thieft! I recommend anyone looking for freelance work of applying to colleges to make one. here's mine par example:

Thanks much guys for over 8,000 hits! unfortunately I won't be able to be on all summer :sad: so I'll upload what I can before the big break. do continue to comment though. I'll comment back eventually. got big plans for next school year including a whole arsinic full of awesome stuff for you guys, actual contests, the revealing of ZP concepts, lots of awesome fan art and others. for now though, I'm doing free commisions. give me a shotout of you're heart's desire and I'll whip it up all beautiful like for you.
